Christies Direct are the leading pet grooming distributor in Europe and one of Northern Ireland's export success stories.  Due to the current growth in the pet industry, we are currently hiring for a Marketing Executive to join our marketing team.

We currently export our own brand products to distributors, pet groomers and retailers in more than 40 countries worldwide. We are widely respected as the animal grooming experts and have a huge focus on quality products, while offering a fantastic customer experience.

Your job is to take new brands and products from zero to hero in the worldwide pet grooming industry.

At Christies, we pride ourselves on having market leading product innovation, design, and marketing. You will work closely with our marketing, purchasing and sales teams to ensure new, as well as existing brands and products perform to their full potential.

Duties of the role will include but are not limited to:

·       Responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for new and existing products.

·       Work closely with the purchasing team, sales team and external partners to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

·       Create and deliver compelling product positioning, messaging, content and value propositions that differentiate our products from the competition.

·       Work with the marketing team to plan and execute product launches, campaigns to generate awareness, demand, and adoption of new and existing products.

·       Measure and analyse the effectiveness of marketing activities and optimize them based on data and feedback.

 

Essential Criteria

•     Degree level or equivalent in Marketing/Business Studies

•     Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

•     2 years’ experience in a marketing role.

•     A positive, proactive ‘can do’ attitude

•     Be confident, dynamic, and creative.

•     Experience in working to tight deadlines.

•     An ability to prioritise with a high attention for detail.

•     Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and oral.

•     A team player and be willing to step outside the role when required.

 

Desirable Criteria

·       Experience of using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
