You will implement the digital element of the company marketing strategy through paid media and creative content. You will contribute to, and execute our digital communications plan, incorporating video, social media and paid marketing channels.


This role is carried out in support of the overall marketing strategy and goals. This involves closely liaising with the rest of marketing team to ensure content is of high quality, current, and in keeping with our brand identity along with key KPIs for driving relevant traffic to the website and increasing sales.

 

Duties of the role will include but are not limited to:

·       Create and deliver channel level marketing plans with day-to-day ownership of campaign content and timescales in accordance with business strategy and goals.

·       Writing engaging and persuasive marketing content and contributing to long-term strategies for email and additional channels.

·       Marketing communication testing and performance analysis to measure customer engagement and determine actionable insights to enable continuous optimisation of campaign performance.

·       Thinking creatively about customers shopping habits and how this can be influenced with personalisation across a variety of channels.

·       Lead the creative delivery of all creative assets in response to the campaign brief and take responsibility for overall delivery.


·       Take engaging product photos which are used for lifestyle photography and online product pages.


·       Ability to edit video material for use on YouTube, Social Media or within the website.


·       Various tasks as requested by Management.

 

Essential Criteria

·       Formal qualification in marketing or a marketing related discipline, or 3+ years’ experience in a dynamic marketing environment.

·       Demonstrable experience in managing relationships with outside agencies.

·       Excellent communicator with a flair for the written word and an eye for good design.

·       Comfortable and confident in managing relationships at all levels with people inside and outside of the business.

·       Video editing and photography skills

·       Able to work alone or in a team as the task at hand requires.

·       Confident user of Microsoft Office.

·       Willing and able to bring ideas – a creative marketer.

·       Creative thinking and commercially astute with ability to manage budgets while optimising results.

·       Analytical skills and the ability to manipulate data to produce meaningful information.

 

Desirable Criteria

·       Understanding of the pet/grooming industry

·       Adobe CS experience

·       Experience of using Salesforce Marketing Cloud

·       Demonstrable experience in paid digital advertising to include PPC and Paid Social ads.
