Our Customer Care Team interacts with customers from all around the world through a multitude of channels – email, phone, live chat, Facebook messenger, web forms (and the occasional letter or two!). We’re looking for someone who has great communication skills, is a brilliant multitasker, and approaches every situation with an optimistic, can-do attitude.

 Our customers are the centre of everything we do here at Christies Direct, and so caring for them and making sure they have an awesome experience should be the centre of your focus. As the company grows and our customer base expands into countries far and wide, fantastic communication skills will be essential – and we would love to hear from you if you speak a second, European language too.

 

Duties of the role will include but are not limited to:

·                     Responding to emails, live chats and messages on our Salesforce platform

·                     Handling Customer Care and Sales calls

·                     Building and maintaining relationships with customers

·                     Upselling, promoting new products and adding value to every interaction with our customer

·                     Resolving customer issues, contacting couriers and quick decision making

·                     Communicating effectively with team, peers, and all colleagues

·                     Maintaining extensive product knowledge 

·                     Attending exhibition shows

·                     Contributing to a collaborative effort in an environment of innovation and customer experience

·                     Various office administrative tasks (booking courier collections, post, etc)

·                     Potential to look after customer groups/accounts

 

Essential Criteria

·                     3 GCSEs, Grades A-C including Maths and English or equivalent

·                     Excellent telephone manner

·                     Demonstrate a high level of customer care- from the start of a customer's journey to aftersales care.

·                     Communication skills both written and verbal

·                     Excellent organisation and administration skills

·                     Flexible in your working approach with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads.

·                     Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office Experience is essential

 

Desirable Criteria

·                     Understanding of the pet/grooming industry

·                     A second language (preferably European)

·                     Relevant experience in a call centre or sales environment 

·                     A love of dogs

·                     Salesforce experience preferred
